The use of the signing bowl can alter the consciousness into a peaceful, expansive state of meditative awareness. Sound is vibration and vibration touches every part of our being from a cellular level to an emotional and spiritual level too.
Sound Healing or vibrational healing is an effective method of energy clearing and balancing which can be used to support other treatments (such as massage or reiki), in the healing process.
Tibetan signing bowls create beautiful vibrations to clear, rebalance, and ground the energy body (Vajra body) and improve the flow of the (subtle) energy in the channels and chakras. This flow of energy then travels though the body to exert a positive influence on the physical and emotional imbalance of the body.
When you strike the bowl, the vibrations act more on the chakras system and when you rub the stick on the rim of the bowl to make it ‘sing’, the vibrations act on the overall ‘aura’ of the body.
Tibetan Singing bowls are traditionally made up of a seven metal alloys known for the healing properties. Each metal represents one of the planets according to Tibetan astrology.
All of the bowls sold at the Medicine Buddha Centre contain the authentic metal alloy.
