Dear Sangha and friends ,
After 13 years, the Tibetan Children’s Fund will close as our goals have been achieved.
We will now focus on monk and nun projects in India and Nepal as well as projects to benefit Australia.
Since its inception in 2008, Tibetan Children’s Fund has assisted over 200 Tibetan children and monks in the Kham region.
Your contributions have benefited so many Tibetan children, and students, who in the past were blind (to the world), and now their eyes have been opened to the limitless opportunities in this world, due to their access to education.
A school has been built, and now children can go to school where they can learn Tibetan language and Tibetan culture.
On behalf of the Tibetan Children’s Fund, we would like to thank all our past and present sponsors for your kind generosity and ongoing support.
Your generosity has allowed us to build a monastery for the monks at Dego Gompa, and establish a school for children in the Kham region in Eastern Tibet.
Now, we need your support as our goal is to establish a retreat centre in Australia which will benefit an immeasurable number of practitioners and students of the Dharma in Australia.
Lama Tendar will now focus all his energy and efforts into establishing this retreat centre so that the Buddha Dharma may flourish, spreading happiness and joy.
We ask that present and future sponsors continue to sponsor us through the Shantideva Buddhist Foundation account below:

We thank you for your ongoing support and you live on in the daily prayers of the monks of Dego Gompa, Lama Tendar and the Sangha at Medicine Buddha Centre, who continue to dedicate their prayers to your good health and success in your life.
Lama Tendar
