Dear Friends and Sangha of the Medicine Buddha Centre,
Lama Tendar will soon embark on a three month retreat in Nepal, taking place between October - December 2024.
There will be many monks from around the world in attendance for this special event.
This will be the first ever retreat of its kind and the first time that Lama Tendar will be participating in such a special event.
We, at the Medicine Buddha Centre, are fundraising to sponsor Lama's retreat for 3 months to cover the cost of food and accommodation and any extra funds will go towards offering to the Teacher and the monks in attendance.
Any amount ( big or small ) is welcomed with much gratitude.
Lama Tendar who celebrated his 20th anniversary in Australia in February 2023, has worked tirelessly for sentient beings and now it's his turn to enter into retreat and do something for his own spiritual development.
It will be our privilege and pleasure to now give back to Lama Tendar and sponsor this important event in his life. The enormous merit of this meritorious deed will be dedicated to the "swift enlightenment of all sentient beings".
