Are meals provided at events ?Full day, multi day or long retreats are usually catered with a delicious cooked lunch. We provide vegetarian options and can cater to your individual dietary needs, just let us know in advance. Check the event listing on the website to see if lunch is provided or get in contact to confirm. For most of our regular events we invite participants to bring a plate of food or snack to share for morning or afternoon tea. This is a great way to get to know others and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea and snack together The Medicine Buddha Centre has a small kitchen located near the Ghompa with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, microwave and oven available to prepare or re-heat food.

How to I connect online to ZOOM ?There are two ways to connect to events via Zoom Download the ZOOM app from your app store to your device and set up an account Visit the ZOOM website via your browser and join a meeting - https://zoom.us/join To connect to the event / meeting room Zoom ID - 2900418032 Password - 033033 Please ensure that you have registered to attend the event via the webpage or by emailing info@tendar.net and organised your ticket fee or event contribution beforehand.

What is the cancellation or refund policy for events ?Events, Course and Retreat tickets are generally not refundable for cash. A full credit will be offered to any future event to the same value for a period of 24 months if adequate notice is given. 48 hours notice is required for cancellations or notice of non-attendance in advance. A credit or refund may not be offered for non-attendance where no notice was given prior. If you have circumstances that arise that are urgent, unforeseen or unavoidable, contact the Centre to discuss your individual situation. We certainly understand that situations arise for participants and are willing to work with individuals to find a solution However, last minute cancellations and non attendance can impact the delivery of events. What do I need to bring when attending events ?Many students like to bring a notebook and pen, a drink bottle and items that aid comfort; such as a shawl or meditation blanket. Chairs are available and participants are not required to sit on the floor. We have printed prayer books available at the Centre, though you can also access these via a phone, ipad or laptop if you prefer. The prayer books can be accessed via the downloads page on the MBC website. We invite participants to being an item or food or drink to share for morning and afternoon tea, though this is totally optional. Kitchen facilities are available for refreshments. If attending a Sound Bath Healing Meditation - we recommend you bring your own yoga mat and a warm blanket. Mats and cushions are also available at the Centre. We ask that visitors remove their shoes before entering the Ghompa, you may like to bring a pair of slippers, house shoes or fresh socks to wear. Clean bare feet are also acceptable.

What is the Shipping & Delivery policy ?All of our products are shipped from the Medicine Buddha Tantrayana Meditation Centre located in Frankston South, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Our high quality items can be sent throughout Australia and to selected countries and regions across the world. ​ All domestic Australian orders are sent via Australia Post. ​ International deliveries are shipped using Express Courier International via Australia Post. ​ Shipping costs are calculated by gross weight. ​ Delivery insurance cover can be organised on request at the buyers expense. You can also request a signature on delivery for a small additional charge. ​ We cannot send bulky items to PO boxes or small letterboxes, these items will be available to collect from your nearest post office. We do not have liability for items once they enter the postal system, if you have concerns please enquire about additional insurance coverage. We use sustainable packaging with 100% compostable shipping bags and boxes.

Can I purchase an item to be sent as a gift ?Once an order is placed, you will be sent a payment receipt and order confirmation email. If you would like an item sent as a gift - please include information about your requirements in the 'notes to seller' field during checkout or contact us directly. ​ If it is to be sent to a different address, please ensure you change the shipping address at the checkout. We don't include paper invoices with our orders, these will be sent to your nominated email address. If you are a website member you can also check your profile information at the top of the MBC webpage.

Do you offer refunds on Online Store items ?We sell high quality products and check everything for damage and faults before stocking our store. ​ A refund, exchange or store credit is offered for 30 days after receiving your order if there is a manufacturing fault or prior damage. Please get in contact as soon as possible to let us know what concerns you. ​ If the item was incorrectly assigned and you have received the wrong product we will replace it once we receive the original item back. We will cover the postage costs to send the correct item back to you. All items must be returned unused and unworn, in the original packaging (if this applies) or as a complete set. Please get in contact if you have any questions. Customers must cover the cost of the return mail delivery cost. If your are local you can arrange a time to drop by in person. The MBC does not offer a mala restringing service. ​ Sale items are final and not returnable.

Is the shop open during the day ?The shop is an online store and is not open as a retail shop during business hours. However it is possible to visit and browse the items on display when attending the Centre for programed events. If you are after something in particular simply call or email the Centre and we will do our best to assist you.
